“I’ve let go of so much stuff. I’m a better version of myself than I was a year ago.”

I didn’t know what it meant to be at peace until now. In April, I couldn’t even imagine what peacefulness looked like.

Now, I struggle to understand how I could feel more peaceful.

It’s like discovering a hot tub that’s at the perfection temperature and thinking ‘where have you been all my life?’.

I’ve let go of so much stuff, insecurities, micromanaging ego getting in the way. I’m a better version of myself than I was a year ago.

“My marriage has flourished so much and my relationship with my kids is so much more relaxed.”

I honestly never thought it was possible to go an entire week not getting stressed or having anxiety, but you proved me wrong! My family and friends have even mentioned the change they see in me. A friend said I was so peaceful and seemed happier.

My husband and I have gone months without fighting. Yes we disagree from time to time, but there’s so much more peace in our home. I’d say when we work on ourselves you might be surprised with just how much other things in your life just fix themselves! I absolutely love Sandy and she helped me take my life back!

Since working with Sandy, my mindset has shifted tremendously. My internal conversations have changed and I actually pause before accepting a negative thought or reacting to how something or someone has made me feel.

I’ve learned to accept how I feel (not reject it with toxic positivity) but also believe that I can control how I react. And I’ve learned to say good things about myself to myself.

As a result my marriage has flourished so much and my relationship with my kids is so much more relaxed. And I don’t have Mom guilt about doing things differently than others or taking breaks away to refill my soul.

“She helped me build my confidence, identify and appreciate my values, and recognize my own self-worth.”

I first discovered Sandy after reading a couple of her submissions on Tiny Buddha. As I read her words, I thought to myself, “I could have written that!” and that motivated me to sign up for individual coaching sessions with her. That same familiarity translated to our work together. Sandy is always compassionate, empathetic, funny, cool, relatable, down-to-Earth, and insightful. At the time, my self-confidence was low after some major life changes and I was not being very kind to myself. I knew I could use some support and Sandy was the perfect person to help me stop beating myself up. One of my favorite things about Sandy is her ability to get down to the root of the issue and provide practical and easy-to-use tools that you can immediately apply to your situation. She is always open about her own experiences, which makes you feel connected and comfortable sharing your stories. I love her unique analogies that always help to further drive home the point. Sandy is skilled at helping to change your patterns of self-judgment and negative thinking by showing you how to reframe your thoughts in a nonjudgmental and objective way. She helped me build my confidence, identify and appreciate my core values, and recognize my own self-worth. I cannot recommend Sandy highly enough. She changed the way I view myself and I’m confident she would do the same for you, too!

“Now I’m practicing more self-compassion, especially when it comes to rest. At work, I’m not procrastinating…”

I needed help with not reacting so much to my triggers. I was considering going back to weekly therapy but decided to give Sandy's course a try first. Previously, the slightest tap on my triggers would have sent me over the edge. After taking the program, I'm now practicing more self-compassion, especially when it comes to rest. At work, I'm not procrastinating nearly as much because I see it as a stress-avoidance technique and can manage it now. In everyday life, I'm less reactive. Overall, I feel more calm, cool, and collected. Sandy is very relatable. Her stories and explanations helped me connect my actions with the problems and solutions. The combination of videos, growth work, and the group calls helped me understand the stress and reactions in my life and apply the healthier strategies. I'm thankful to Sandy for helping me feel better. It is possible to tone down the noise in your head and make life easier.

“It’s within my power to create the friendships I want… [Graceful Resilience] helped give me the courage to start initiating activities with others that I wanted to do.”

“I don’t feel as anxious or stressed anymore. I’ve learned to relax and just ‘be’.”

If you have struggled with stress and anxiety and haven't been able to get relief on your own, I highly recommend the Graceful Resilience program.
I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and started having panic attacks. I wanted to learn how to cope with my stressors and move on with confidence and resilience.
Since taking the program, I don't feel as anxious or stressed anymore, and if I do, I can more easily work through it and realize that it isn't as bad as I think. I definitely have grown and learned how to reframe my thoughts. Most of my anxiety is the "second arrow" that is described in the course -- my reaction to the situation, rather than the situation itself.
I have learned skills for reframing and redirecting my intrusive thoughts, as well as for acknowledging and accepting things I can't change. I have learned how to relax more and just "be."
Sandy is experienced and knowledgeable, and she can get to the root of your sources of stress and anxiety and help you see them in a different light, as things that can be managed or at least accepted. The tools she teaches are useful for many different situations, even just regular life stuff that we all experience.
I just wanted to thank you again for this program and all the help you provided. This past week was particularly stressful and overwhelming, and I used some of the tools to get me through it with less anxiety than usual. I have more "growthwork" to do, but I am definitely seeing improvement. Thank you!

“When you work with Sandy, you will have a meaningful experience.”

I came to Sandy feeling depressed, anxious, and worrying about how other people in my life view me. She was very attentive and intuitive at asking the questions I needed to answer to help move forward.  She allows her client the space and opportunity to explore their thought process. One of the cornerstones of her work is meditation and the impact of communication - with ourselves and others - on our experiences.  I feel I now have tools and new ways of thinking about myself. I like that she didn't rush, was thoughtful in her approach, and I felt she grasped my family dynamic quite well.  I didn't feel judged and needed the safe space to talk and arrive at solutions that made sense for me.  When you work with Sandy you will have a meaningful experience and you'll get out what you put in.  Practice the meditations, take a chance at finding a new perspective, own what is triggered in you and the story you tell yourself.  Take notes because this is an opportunity to learn about yourself and grow with another person who gives you their undivided attention.

“I have noticed a significant improvement in the way I handle things that once bothered me and living in other people’s heads.”

After reading one of Sandy's articles on Tiny Buddha, it completely struck a cord with me.  It was like reading my own story.  I was living in people's heads.  Worrying constantly.  I needed to stop. Sandy is so easy to talk to and she understands what I was going through.  I never felt like she was judging me, and she always made me feel at ease when I was uncomfortable with my thoughts and saying them out loud.
She armed me with the tools to work on myself; to recognise my thought process and know when to stop the spiral I found myself in.  I am still practicing the techniques, and I find them great in putting things in order for me.  I have now taken up mediation which I strive to do everyday.
The whole process takes time and practice, and I have noticed a significant improvement in the way I handle things that once would have bothered me and had me living in other people's heads.
For anyone interested in working with Sandy, I would say have a chat with her and you will see what a truly genuine person she is. She is very kind and funny and extremely understanding.  Her techniques work.

“I’m now sleeping better, much less stressed, eating better, and not engaging in conflict with others.”

I met Sandy at a time when I was feeling frustrated because there seemed to be no flow in my life, both professionally and personally. Sandy assisted me to identify my core values and often brought me back to them thus encouraging me to live true to who I am in different situations. I am grateful to be experiencing more flow and I feel better equipped to notice and manage my frustration. I recommend Sandy for her candor, care and compassion.
I came to Sandy to learn how to better manage my stress. I had been stress eating, waking in the middle of the night anxious about things that needed to be done, and felt like I couldn’t unwind without a glass of wine. She gave me the tools I needed to learn how to relax and to deal with life’s difficult situations from a more neutral perspective whereas in the past I would have taken other people’s actions personally, beat myself up about it and it would have hurt my self esteem. Now I’m able to choose how I react to situations instead of automatically responding with stressful thoughts. I’m now sleeping better, much less stressed, eating better and not engaging in conflict with others or absorbing negativity, and the tools I learned from Sandy were instrumental. If you’re dealing with stress or anxiety and want your life back I recommend calling Sandy!
I worked with Sandy to help with my anxiety and stress. She let me express my stress and helped me to shift my story. Her approach is unique in the way she listened to understand rather than listen to respond. Sandy is kind and gentle in her approach and is very understanding having done this work for herself. She’s very generous and wants you to succeed. She gave me several good exercises to relax the mind and body as well as process emotions and gave me the space to be vulnerable.
