Over 4 months, you’ll have 12 weekly live group coaching calls where you’ll be able to bring your questions, struggles, realizations, and other experiences, and be coached live, as well as learning from others as they share and are coached as well. PHASE ONE: Master your Zen-Badassery

First, we start in the body. Using the Balanced Serenity method, you’ll build a strong foundation of first healing from stress and burnout, while also creating a habit of staying calm and in control.

That way when your kids are acting crazy after a long day – you can lead by example and stay calm but firm instead of reacting and swearing or when Kevin from Sales tries to steamroll you on a conference call with the CEO, you can keep your cool and share your genius instead of shutting down.

We start here because the truth is – all the positive affirmations and mindset shifts in the world will not stop you from overreacting or shutting down in the moment.

So you can show up as a present, calm and compassionate parent, showing your kids by example how to be that way too when they get older and need to find balance between their passion, their family and their health.

Hi, I’m Sandy

Mama. Wifey. Doggo snuggler. Coffee lover. Recovered anxiety-riddled stress-aholic.

Having been fed up of a lifetime of anxiety, I found resilience training work several years ago after I’d tried different forms of therapy, medication (and self medication) without getting the results I wanted.

I soon started combining the work with mindfulness and meditation, which accelerated my progress and changed my life completely. From a state of anxiety, ADHD, self bullying and panic attacks to joy, peace and excitement about life, and a newfound ability to quickly bounce back when life gets challenging.

Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and meditation, and as a certified health and life coach and yoga teacher, I’ve spent the last several years coaching women and teaching workshops both live and online.

What does Graceful Resilience mean?

>> It means knowing that with life comes stress and challenges, but you are resilient enough to face adversity because you have the tools to work through it.

>> It means even if you hear that inner voice bullying you, cutting you down, and telling you that you’re no good, you are able to challenge and change those limiting beliefs with your head held high.

>> It means not hiding from stress, anxiety, or any negative emotion by numbing it, or stuffing it down, but having the strength to allow discomfort to be present in order to move it through you more quickly and gracefully.

>> It means you don’t have to be a b*tch, or a hard @ss to get what you want and need, that you can compassionately communicate (even with yourself) and set boundaries.

Will this be woo-woo, spiritual, hippie stuff?

The lessons in this program are all science-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and meditation, self compassion, and neuroplasticity. 

If spirituality is part of your life and your practice, this course certainly will help expand on that by way of bringing you more in touch with your true self. However, there is no spirituality mentioned in this course.

I see there is some meditation in this course. I tried meditation but didn't get much out of it, will this be different?

Yes, there are meditations included throughout this course as ways to 1) reinforce the lessons in each module and 2) because meditation is really mind training – it’s like going to the gym for your brain. And in this course, we’re building new muscles, i.e. ways of thinking.

If you tried meditation in the past but it didn’t work for you, that most likely means that you didn’t have one or a mix of the following things in place: an honest expectation on what to experience when trying meditation; a clear intent on what you wanted out of it and the knowledge to get there; a roadmap on what you needed to practice when in the process, a plan to set up a regular practice that will give you the changes you want over time, a successful way of turning obstacles and resistance into opportunities for practice and growth.

New neural pathways are created with repetition. If your first meditation experiences were connected with a feeling of boredom, restlessness, or overwhelm, then it’s not likely you’ll sit down again. More likely, limiting beliefs have come up with reasons NOT to try again to protect you from uncomfortable emotions – with the effect that you probably won’t take on overcoming those initial reactions.

Good news: you’re in the right place. I won’t let you miss out on the benefits from meditation from a programmed belief – and neither should you. This course isn’t just a meditation workshop. It’s the roadmap to a successful meditation practice that teaches you what to practice when and build skills over time. You also learn to identify limiting beliefs that show up and what to do with them, so they don’t stop you.

How much time will this take?

The course is 10 modules delivered each week over 12 weeks. Each module takes 30-60 minutes to complete and includes growth-work exercises to complete during the week which could take up to an hour, but in most cases much less. The real work happens in between the sessions as you practice the lessons learned. This could be anywhere from a few minutes a day to as much time as you would like to invest. The honest truth is, the more you put in, the more you get out, but this does not have to be a huge time investment for you. The goal of the course is to create within you new mindsets and habits to become the norm for your everyday life.

What if I miss a week because #life? Do I have to complete it in 9 weeks?

You can watch each module at your own pace. You can take a week off, go back, do the whole course, and repeat later. You’ll have continued access to this course, as well as any new materials added in the future, so you can go at your own pace.
