When you’re on this journey to find your inner calm, learning to break a negative thought spiral is going to be key.

A few weeks ago I had a video go viral on TikTok where I explained one strategy to pause and step back from a negative thought spiral, by brining in non-judgmental curiosity.

I shared a simple question you can ask yourself to give you the space to step back and get off the rumination broken record.

First, we must Notice we’re in the spiral.

Then, we Acknowledge the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors happening, with curiosity and compassion.

Finally, we can then Redirect our thoughts in a direction that best serves us.
