Today’s lesson you’ll learn:

You are more capable of embracing difficult emotions than you think. I know it feels like accepting and embracing a difficult emotion will take you over and consume you.
It’s easy to want to suppress it because it can feel like it will break you.
We may bend, but we don’t break. There is a gracefulness in allowing yourself to experience discomfort and pain as it arises in this moment.
Today – In your day today, reflect on this – we willingly subject ourselves to movies, tv, books and content that evoke negative emotions. While watching, reading or listening to a story that evokes any stressful or uncomfortable emotion – bring curiosity to the sensation and ask, what does this feel like? Can I experience this without trying to change how it feels?
