TODAY’S LESSON
Start in your body and let your body do the work.
Jump to: Weekly Meditation | Journal Prompt | Affirmation
Today’s lesson you’ll learn:
- Why it’s easier to calm the mind through the body than the body through the mind.
- How to calm yourself without needing thoughts, and how to bring this into your day.
We are a very smart species and the problem with that is we feel like we can think our way through every problem. We think a positive affirmation will change how we feel.
But we are more complex than that. Our beliefs shape our thoughts, which create our emotions, which we experience physically in our bodies. But also, the reverse is true.
It’s a 2 way street.
But it’s easier to calm the mind through the body than calm the body through the mind.
Today: Use your transition times between tasks to intentionally and proactively ground your energy – like hitting the reset button – when you pee, between meetings, walking to get a drink
